Talisman

There is quite a few people who signed up as tentative tonight so... I don't know whether there is enough people for an actual raid. As such I will AGAIN ask that people tell me what it means, so I will know if it means "I will arrive five minutes later" or it means "I probably won't".

So far, we are looking at just doing the weekly.

As some of you may have noticed, we have big changes coming for cataclysm. On each coming raid, I will take 15 minutes to explain these changes, take questions and generally prepare you. Then on the 2nd of November, we will move people from the Talisman guild and start invites to the new one.

I am glad to announce that we have settled on a name for the new group and that it will be Aegis!

This new group is a wonderful chance for us to revitalize our group, infuse it with new members, with more RP and with a whole new set of fun times!

The Guild

Aegis will both be a guild and a raidgroup. Due to the many new awesome things you get as a guild member come Cataclysm, I strongly recommend joining the guild and doing so will also give a range of benefits from our side (Such as free repairs, access to guild bank, priority for 8 our of 10 raid spots), but will not be required! If you wish to stay in your current guild, that is acceptable too.

Aegis will be split into two wings; One focused on PvE (Which is what Talisman focuses on), and one whose focus lies on PvP. Since I will be working mostly with the PvE part, that is what I will focus on here.

The Officers

Coragon will function as administrator of the entire guild, while Reageth, Gwyin and Delanii takes care of the PvE wing. Simone will become part of Coragon's staff, taking care of Guild bank and other things of that caliber.

Gwyin, Delanii and myself have our jobs agreed upon and we will be taking good care of a group of the members each. When you see one of us three coming around and saying that he is your contact officer, that means that he would love to answer most of your questions - For those questions he can't answer, he can either find you the answer or someone who knows it.

IC changes

The IC creation of this guild will start when the pre-events to Cataclysm really start. The wheels will start turning and we will rapidly move into position to defend the Alliance. In connection hereto, there will be IC events, OOC changes and generally fun and chaos.

For Now

We will continue raiding. When we move into Aegis, we will also continue raiding. When Cataclysm comes out, we will have a break for raids till people are 85, but will still do dungeons and group quests (Though I haven't found any yet, so they might not even exist) together aswell as regular guild meetings.

Alright, seems that they messed up big time. I can't add people who aren't actually IN the Talisman guild, so I went ahead and made everything public instead... I am still pondering what to do, so stay tuned. I am honestly not pleased at all with this development. Not. At. All.
